Peter McQueen
Overview
Peter McQueen accepts appointments as arbitrator and mediator in respect of cross-border commercial disputes, in particular those relating to international trade and transport.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and an Aspiring Full Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).
He has acted as an arbitrator in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, including those conducted under the auspices of Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre , the ICC, the LMAA, the Singapore International Arbitration Commission and the Singapore Chamber for Maritime Arbitration.
He is an arbitration panel member of arbitration institutions in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and United Kingdom.

Experience
Peter practised internationally for over 40 years as a dispute resolution lawyer, in particular in relation to trade and transport disputes, providing his advice and representation in court, arbitration and mediation proceedings.
He has provided for over 10 years his ADR services globally relating to cross-border commercial disputes and has acted as an arbitrator in ad hoc and administered arbitrations, including those conducted under the auspices of ACICA, HKIAC, ICC, LMAA, SCMA and SIAC, and pursuant to UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
Peter is an arbitration panel member of arbitral institutions in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and United Kingdom. He also acts as a mediator.
Teaching
He is a Tutor in international commercial arbitration on the Approved Faculty List of the
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has taught international commercial arbitration and
maritime law at universities in Australia and France.
